We recommend checking 3-5 times a day. Many members choose to check it more.
We are typically updating the site Monday–Friday 10:30am-5:30pm and Saturdays from 11am-3pm. These are the best times to check the site.
Occasionally, shows are posted outside of our business hours, so definitely check the site on Sundays and in the evenings for last minute offers.
Keep money in your balance
We always recommend having around $45 (10 tickets) in your balance at all times.
Don’t let you balance drop below $18 (4 tickets).
Remember, if you don’t have enough money, the system won’t show that tickets are available.
Always look for the “Show More Dates” button on individual show listings
If we have at least 4 dates posted on the list, look out for a button below the show times that says “Show More Dates”. There may be many more dates available!
Plan ahead and carefully read the dates of shows and listings
Don’t book a show unless you are sure you can go.
Always give yourself extra time to arrive at the box office.
Only cancel a show in the case of an extreme emergency.
These tips will help avoid incurring penalty fees.
Try something new
Don’t be afraid to get out of your comfort zone and see a show you don’t know. When you try new things with Play-by-Play, the only risk is $4.50.
(We hear all the time that some of the best shows people have seen are the unexpected ones.)
Get free time added to your membership
When you refer a friend, you receive an additional month added to your current expiration date. One month for each new member you refer!

HOW TO ORDER TICKETS
Please read the following instructions as well as the Terms & Conditions before ordering tickets. Tickets move quickly for popular performances, so we suggest that you check our member site frequently to see new listings!
Please keep Play-by-Play informed of current credit card information in order to avoid delays in reserving tickets. To update credit card or personal information please telephone during business hours at 212.868.7052. Adjustments may only be made by the primary account holder.
Enter your email address and password in our log-in section and click Go.
Browse Play-by-Play’s show listings and times. Click on the performance you wish to attend or to read a description about the production.
Additionally you will see: Your name; ID number; Credit amount in your reserve account; Membership expiration date; Description of show; Theatre address and pick-up information; “Reserve Now” drop down box for number of tickets desired and Add Now to add $ .00 to your credit reserve.
Select the number of tickets you want to reserve from the “Reserve Now” drop- down box.
Confirm the specifics of your order before clicking “Reserve Now”. Once you click “Reserve Now”, $4.50 will be deducted from your account for each ticket you have requested.
Please do not click on “Reserve Now” more than once, as this may result in a double charge to your account.
Your confirmation will be immediately emailed to you with the theatre address and pick-up instructions. Please print out this page and keep for your records.
Members will be responsible for keeping records of all performances attended and tickets used against your credit account.
Tickets must be picked up at specifically instructed times and locations. Never approach the box office for tickets if you are late! Memberships may be revoked for such actions. Enjoy, and thank you for using Play-By-Play!
